The article presents a literary criticism for April De Angelis' "Wild East" with closer look at corporate culture to illustrate how the play dissects the Hobbesian ethics of ‘homo homini lupus' at work in corporate environments. It shows how shows how De Angelis uses his notion of a ‘perpetual state of war' as a sounding board to criticise the way in which the ruthless agents of 21st-century capitalist culture.
