Unlike Wang Zhidong's Sina, Zhang Chaoyang's Sohu, and Ding Lei's NetEase.com, which develop business models based on the American Internet system, Jack Ma's Alibaba is a localized Internet company that understands what the Chinese people need and how to connect small and medium-sized enterprises together (221). With the development of the digital economy, China is striving to transform from a manufacturing powerhouse to an innovative powerhouse, and a number of excellent innovative enterprises have emerged, forming a digital management model with Chinese characteristics. As a Western management scholar who spent a year visiting five Chinese high-tech companies and speaking with Chinese experts, academics, and business people, Annika Steiber came to the conclusion that China is innovating at an exponential rate and contributing Chinese samples and experience to global scientific and technological innovation. The emergence of the Internet era has significantly altered society's use of information, and an increasing number of sectors and companies are beginning their digital transformation.
